Invoking TreoStar from the Preferences Panel will display the TreoStar Preferences form.
TreoStar currently has only one option, to enable or disable it. Future versions will
probably have more options.
Once enabled, the first two lines of any text entered between the
<ts> and
</ts>
tokens in the contacts memo will be displayed on making or receiving a call from or to that contact.
You can - and probably should - use a utility like
ShortCut5 (freeware) to enter these tokens quickly into your memo. Note that the
text should be contained within the first 250 characters on your memo, or it will be ignored. Line breaks
are preserved in the display text. If you have any "secret" contacts, they will be searched as well.
From v1.1b3, you can dismiss the reminder by tapping on it and redisplay the reminder by tapping in
the same area again. An asterisk (*) is displayed to the left of the phone number (below the phone icon)
when the reminder is not being displayed. This is useful as the display area is used to display other
call related information by the phone library.
From v1.52 on, you can include Contact information like Company, Title, City etc. in your reminder note
without having to retype them. Just include the following "tokens" in your reminder note and the corresponding
information will be displayed in your reminder. Remember that your text still needs to be less that 250 characters
and the reminder is still three lines high.
Include this "Token" in your reminder note...
