Operation

Treobble Main Form
Touchscreen-swipe response	Swipe (Up or Down)	Entries scroll as appropriate.
	Touch row (for popup delay time) and leave	Selected entry is dialed.
Keypad response	5-Way Up	Entries scroll down.
	5-Way Down	Entries scroll up.
	5-Way Left	Move row selector up.
	5-Way Right	Move row selector down.
	5-Way Center	Selected entry is dialed.
	Side Key	Selected entry is dialed.
	Return Key	Selected entry is dialed.
	"0"	Reset row selector.
	"."	Reset row selector.
	Backspace	Show first page.
	Shift-Backspace	Show last page.
	Space	Entries scroll up.
	"A" to "Z" or "a" to "z"	Scroll to first entry with selected character.
Dialer Form
Keypad response	5-Way	Navigates or selects buttons or controls as appropriate.
	Volume Keys	Moves up or down form controls.
	Side Button	Dials currently selected number.
	Backspace	Exits dialer.
	Space	Exits dialer.
	Enter/ Return Key	Dials currently selected number.

Treobble Preference Settings
Initial Delay	Initial Delay (despite meaning something else) is the sampling rate. Values between 3 and 15 milliseconds work well. NOTE: A lower value - say, 5 - does not automatically mean the performance will be better. It all depends on the response you are comfortable with. Values between 3 to 25 will work with 10 being the approximate "normal" value. Users having problems getting Treobble to scroll should try 10, 8 or 12 first... and then change it to a value they are comfortable with. I have it set to 20 on my Treo 650.
Shift Speed-Threshold	Number of pixels from the initial touch location where speed shifts occur while swiping up or down.
Reverse Scroll	Reverses the scrolling response.
Popup Delay	Number of ticks (~ 1/100 second) to tap-and-hold a particular entry to pop-up the dialer. Values around 20 ticks work well.

2.1	27-Nov-2007	Increased addressbook entries handled to 3000 (approx). Allows opening of selected contact for editing in native contacts application.
2.2	27-Nov-2007	Minor UI enhancements. Use 5-Way Left to move row selector up, 5-Way Right to move row selector down, "0" or "." to reset selector. In dialer, you can use Space to exit dialer.
2.3	28-Nov-2007	Implemented categories...
2.4	28-Nov-2007	Fixed minor bug in scrolling with letter keys. Irritating volume gadget flicker eliminated.
2.5	28-Nov-2007	Smoother scrolling than previous versions. (Really!) Fixed minor UI related bugs in gadget drawing and scrolling with letter key routines. Updated user manual.
2.6	29-Nov-2007	Dialer form killed after eight seconds delay or if active at power-off.
2.7	30-Nov-2007	Minor bug-fixes.
2.8	1-Dec-2007	Allows dialing of SMS if selected phone "number" is an email address.
2.9	2-Dec-2007	Primitive (but hopefully adequate) incremental letter search added in-addition to first letter search.
3.0	4-Dec-2007	Finally got rid of some unnecessary tricks in the event loop. It's a much cleaner event loop and now everything is according to PalmOS recommendations. Any residual problems with the Centro should be taken-care of.
3.2	7-Dec-2007	Minor UI enhancements.
3.3	14-Dec-2007	Minor UI enhancements and fixes. Slow-to-a-stop feature (experimental).
3.4	14-Dec-2007	Tweaked internal parameters. It's now twice as fast but has a more natural feel. Eliminated screen flicker that used to occur on occassion.
3.5	16-Dec-2007	Fixed text-field background color problem in Settings form. Added option to disable clicking sounds. Scroll speed-indicator. Incremental letter search is faster.
3.6	21-Dec-2007	Minor bug-fixes, tweaking of internal parameters. Fixed a problem where clicking sounds followed by resets used to occur.
3.7	25-Dec-2007	Option to disable slow-to-a-stop feature. Minor tweaking of internal parameters.
3.8	25-Mar-2008	Centro compatible.
4.0	17-Apr-2008	More reliably stores and restores previous Treobble state.
